Lugar: Hotel Fiesta Americana, Reforma #80

Nos vemos!

Want to download all MIX sessions?

Then you should check Mike Swanson’s blog post here. He has two batch files, the first downloads all MIX session recordings with in the format you like, the second renames them so it is easier to make sense of all the media file names.

If you just want a list of all sessions with download links this page might be the thing for you.

So much better than downloading them by hand. Not as good as going to the MIX itself but if you, like me, couldn’t go it is still a nice way to see all the content.

Enjoy!

PDC session download

Want to download and watch all PDC content? Then there are a couple of ways to get at them. The official way if to go through the session agenda at the conference site. See https://sessions.microsoftpdc.com/public/timeline.aspx. You see all sessions but it takes a bit of work. Another nice way is through Channel 9 by using the following feed: http://channel9.msdn.com/posts/pdc2008/RSS/?tag=videos.

But the best as far as I am concerned is using the list compiled by Greg Duncan. Check this list http://coolthingoftheday.blogspot.com/2008/10/pdc2008-quick-video-link-list.html. And it even has the Visual Basic source code used to generate the list

Enjoy the videos!

www.TheProblemSolver.nl
Wiki.WindowsWorkflowFoundation.eu

IE 8 Beta1 and SL2.0 - Today

Today, I've downloaded IE8 beta 1 as well as Silverlight 2.0 installed on my laptop. This day have seen many products released at Mix 08 by great personalities like Scott Guthrie, Bob Familiar, Guy Burstein, IEBlog, etc. According to Jane Kim at an interview for Mix08, Activities and WebSlices are two of the most exciting new features in IE8.

Apart of IE8.0 and SL2.0, there are other products such as

Expression Blend 2.5 March CTP
Expression Web 2 Beta
Silverlight Tools Beta 1 for VS2008

I've downloaded all these .. and am trying out one by one .. what about you??

MSDN events calender for the month of August 2007 in USA

Upcoming MSDN events in your area: August 9 - Portland, OR Meet Your Fellow Masters with MSDN Events Connect with like-minded coders at this free, half-day of learning from MSDN Events. • Session 1: New Thinking in Data with LINQ and Visual Studio 2008 Learn the architecture of LINQ and the C# and Visual Basic extensions for writing queries within the development tool you're already comfortable with. • Session 2: Building an Effective Messaging Infrastructure with WCF Learn how to build and configure...(read more)
