If it isn't I guess they're getting that one out before it is.

Spamming for Jesus is a lot like Stealing for Jesus or Murdering for Jesus. The saying "Hell is paved with good intentions" seems to fit in this situation too. I personally don't see how something wrong can somehow be okay because of the message. Luckily it isn't "Murder for Jesus" but I question the ethics of someone who uses something even borderline annoying/illegal for some positive gain (regardless of what the message is or if I believe in it or not).

Somehow I just don't think that was received the way it could have been, but who knows. Maybe it helped one person out but it seems like the wrong approach to me.

re: Spammers for Jesus?

lol - I don't need to pretend to be cold man, I'm just as cold if not colder than our leader KC ("na-na-na-na leader" - Homer). Other manifestations of the cult of a deity are the preservation of relics or the creation of images, such as icons (usually connoting a flat painted image) or idols (usually connoting three-dimensional objects), and the identification of sacred places, hilltops and mountains, fissures and caves, springs and pools, or groves, which may be the seat of an oracle. The sacred places may be elaborated by construction of shrines and temples, on which are centered public attention at religious festivals (called "Feasts" in some Christian communities) and which may become the center for pilgrimages."

Sounds like all religions are cults to me.
