Folks - As you know, Charles Carroll went on the attack and is blaming me for all sorts of things. In the past, I've tried to clean up comments that were imposters. I edited them to say "This isn't really from Charles" and I wrote a letter to the Imposter. Because this blog isn't a priority in my life, I'm very bad about editing comments. I don't moderate them and only catch some b/c of spam. I edit stuff when i see it but if you see how long it's been between posts, You know that I don't put a lot of effort into my blog.
Anyway, I don't agree with whoever is posting as Charles, Doug, Peter or anyone else. I think it's wrong, immature and just uncool and want left out of it. B/c I don't feel like spending hours cleaning up those comments - LET ME SAY THIS LOUD AND CLEAR - ANY COMMENTS FROM CHARLES MARK CARROLL ON THIS BLOG ARE PROBABLY FAKE - IN FACT, JUST ASSUME THEY ARE B/C HE DOESN'T POST HERE.
Ok, they aren't his. Nor are they Doug Nelson or Peter Brunone's. I don't moderate comments b/c I don't have time to. I stay quite busy with work and my community involvement and approving/rejecting comments is just a waste of time for me. I never have moderated comments and doubtfully ever will. Where I've found them, I've edited the comments I knew were fakes to tell the world someone was playing this BS. I even wrote a piece to the Charles Carroll Imposter. Brian Madsen, among others can back this up or you can see it for yourself by following this link. This is one place I outed the person pulling this crap and edited the comments I saw. Charles claim that I'm doing this or just letting it happen is 100% BS. For someone who gets all worked up about other people's journalistic standards, he really should get his facts straight. He implies I moderate comments when I don't. He says a lot of things that just aren't true. I'll hereby donate 1000.00 to Charles' Charity of choice if he can produce one single shred of evidence that Microsoft was going to kick me out of the MVP Program. 1000.00 no questions asked it he can show real evidence of this claim. He can't b/c it's just not true. I was never 'almost' kicked out as he claims and I don't need to hide behind anything.
As far as InlineASP goes, he's full of it there too. I don't own it, run it or post there. In fact, read my comments on the site - I beg over and over for them to leave me the f**** out of it.
I'm too busy to waste with this crap so just know, if you see a comment on my blog from Charles Carroll, Charles Mark Carroll, Charles M Carroll etc, it's a fake. Someone has been posting comments under his name and it's definitely not Charles.
