Worst I.T. Excuses

  1. It works on my machine
  2. It doesn't matter because no one will ever do that
  3. Users like it the way it is
  4. I don't write any bugs
  5. It'll be fixed in the next release
  6. It'll be ready on Monday, we just need to build the setup package
  7. The spam filter ate it
  8. A little more RAM will fix your performance problem
  9. You can't do that because it's a security risk
  10. The database is slow because it's too normalized

I got these via email and it didn't include the source, so I'm not sure who to give credit to.  #1 and #9 really made me laugh.   If you have any others, I'd love to hear them.
