New Gmail Annoyance

Published Tue, Dec 13 2005 2:49 | William

B1tching about something that's free is the ultimate looking a gift horse in the mouth, but there's a new Gmail annoyance that's driving me nuts.  The new adsense that sits in the header section of the gmail grid is normally inobtrusive and well placed.  Until you empty your spam folder, in which case it almost always gives you recipes for stuff with Spam.  The latest one I came across:

Creamy Spam Broccoli Casserole - Makes 8 servings

Uhhhh, YUCK.  Yesterday was Spam Egg Mayonaise and Ketchup sandwiches which they abbreviated Spemk sandwiches.  Like I said,Yuck.

sorry dude, just spaming you to test comments.

Oh, BTW, this skin seems ot have a bug when there are no comments. When the page loads it scrolls to the very end.

It's all good buddy - I'm still trying to find a skin i like too. For some reason, they all seem to randomly pick javascripts to screw up as literals - and it happens indiscriminately so I lost a lot of my 'bling' . Lemme know if you find a skin you recommend man - I'm using trial and error right now but I got a lot more error than trial.

I think they're trying to be funny.

Meh.

Ok - I feel really dumb now. It's got to be a goof.
