Cool programmable robot
Published 30 November 5 6:46 PM |
William
So there's an affordable robot that's fully programmable with Basic. Wouldn't this kick a33 if you could stick the Compact Framework on the PIC? Sara already has one and just assembled it, I'm thinking of picking one up too. Way high cool factor.
Misc Observations on Biztalk
Published 30 November 5 9:36 AM |
William
Yesterday, to my surprise, there was quite a bit of hype about Biztalk 2006. As far as the marketing hype went, I'll go so far as to say that it was featured almost as prominently as Visual Studio 2005 and Sql Server 2005. There were a few differences...

My Homie Jason Burton from TiBA just shot me this jewel on 'real' documentation . Everyone needs to read that memo.

Currently i'm in gadget overload - namely I have way more gadgety stuff than I can even use. XM Radio just made that a lot worse. Three years ago, i got my first XM Radio. Now, you pay $12.95 per month now for the service, for the first radio and $5.95...
Portable Media Center - Under $300.00
Published 13 November 5 6:24 PM |
William
A few weeks ago, I saw one on sale for $250.00 at a major retailer after rebates. Being that I already have one, I didn't need to get another one. However since it's the Christmas season [I know, I saw Southpark too, 'Christmas' is offensive to Kyle's...
XBOX 360

William
I saw a XBOX 360 at WalMart of all places and was quite surprised. Looks like they are coming out next monday. Does anyone know - do I need to pre-order one or are there going to be enough to go around next week?
A cool way to empty out your wallet

Well I was talking with Sara today and heard that she's going independent. That's pretty darned cool since it means she's going to have more time to work on more cool stuff . Right off the bat she mentions embedded the .NET Framework in one of them. Got...
God I hate some MAC users

William
Well, even though I have a few - this crap e pisses me off so bad I feel like shoving a wide side of my eMac right up some of their a33's. I originally posted the links back through KC's site but figured I'd try again. Since none of my posts seem to be...

Benchmarking things like this and this is definitely one way to do it. I shouldn't be surprised though, Roland has been rolling in cool posts and projects recently.

Published 6 November 5 8:58 PM |
William
For once, I didn't get a meme from Scott , I got this one from John Papa . And yes, 8th Graders got nothing on me. You Passed 8th Grade Math Congratulations, you got 10/10 correct! Could You Pass 8th Grade Math?
How do you handle Session variables?
Published 6 November 5 4:12 PM |
William
One of my many pet peeves is working with Session variables that are treated as Strings. For instance, when I see something like this: tbFirstName.Text = Session[”FirstName”].ToString(); Why? Well, because a typical application has zillions...

Well, I know I shouldn't do this, but well, there's a few too many UGA fans around me that have been talking trash all season about my hurricanes. #5 Miami whips that #3 Virginia Tech a33 . So for the second week in a row, that puts Miami where and Georgia...
