Visual Spang

Does anyone have any non-NDA details about Visual Spang? Wally just told me about it, I flipped over to Channel 9 and low and behold I thought I was in the other Coffeehouse.  Is this the lamest crap you've ever heard or what? I've heard this crap over and over directed towards a few different product groups, particular Mobility MVPs and it's usually a pretty lame criticism.  I mean WTF, if I go to New York for the weekend and have a blast, no one gets pissed if I mention it, but if I go to the summit and have a blast, for G*ds sake I better not mention it.  But as far as old school Playa Hatin goes, This takes the cake.  And for those Non-MVPs out there that are interested in what the coffeehouse is all about, go to this page substitute George Bush, Karl Rove or Tom Delay for MVP, and viola you've got it.  Oh crap, I said 'Coffeehouse' in public - Queen Cluestick and Company will probably be calling for my head. Ahhh, as usual every time I talk about that place I just start getting pissed off and turn it into a rant.

Actually though, some of those comments are really pissing me off.  In many newsgroups, many people don't bother to read through them or use a search engine before posting.  So the same questions get posted over and over.  1/2 the reason we did KnowDotNet and I started blogging was so that I could answer a question and then just point to my answer.  .Net has been out for a good while now so chances are, when answering a question, you're not going to be adding something that no one has ever mentioned before.
