Help with Certifications

Published Sun, Oct 2 2005 21:05 | William
Ok, I've puss'd out long enough on this.  I'm officially laying down the gauntlet.  I'll have my MCAD within 35 days.  Microsoft gave me a certificate for it  (Casey, Mark, Shawn et al - if you don't need your certificate - please shoot it my way ;-)  ) so it's free.  Tired of talking about it - If I don't post that I have the MCAD by Mid November - please post here and remind me what a worthless loud mouth I am until fix it.

Don't you want to wait for the .Net 2.0 Certification ? That's the thing that's keeping from getting my certificaion (plus my laziness). I just don't want my certification to be almost irrelevant a couple of months from now.

J-F - that's a good point, but considering how I've put it off so far (talk about doing something at the last minute), I think I need to just hammer it out. Plus my coupons are only good for 30 days ;-)

Love to help you out with the free cert, but I am using mine to get my MCDBA...

OK, well last one to pass the test has to go to Cleveland.

the free pass from the summit lasts for 8 months;
so i'm saving it for the upgrade tests

KC - if it's good for 8 months, please don't tell me that, the 30 day thing was starting to cure my procrastination ;-)

lol, i 'think' the passes are good for that long ... but i should double check.

if i were starting new, i would definitely wait for the new tests to come out.

I don't care how long the passes are good for, you threw down this huge ass guantlet and almost hit me in the head with it, and now you're taking that test by god!

Don't make me track you down Bill, I don't want to have to go and do that... Just think what kind of damage could be done to your newest gadget if I had to hire 2 Phillipino guys to beat you into submission... Not a pretty picture, is it?
