Microsoft.Winfx.Targets

Published Tue, May 17 2005 21:39 | William
I have every other Target file I need but this one.  So far, my IDE on all virtual hard drive images (February and March CTP) will come up and then just go away.  Nada in the event log.  So I'm commandline boy.  Not a biggy, I'm spoiled after all but not a totally wuss.  However for all of my Avalon demos, I need Microsoft.Winfx.Targets which is missing and I sure as hell can't find it.  A friend of mine (who's  a real comedian) said “Well why don't you just do your Avalon demos without any UI Elements hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahah”.  Yeah, real funny.  If anyone has it under v.2.0.50110 - if you have any human compassion, please send me the file.... Maybe I can just stick it in (hu huh, he said stick it in) and it'll run.  I'll appreciate it more than I can possibly say...

Hey, did you solve this problem? Today, I just installed Windows Vista Beta 1, VS 2005 Beta 2, and WinFX Beta 1, but the VS 2005 gave me a same problem like your problem. Any solution?

Hi there,

I had the same problem : installed Beta 1 of WPF and I could not find Microsoft.WinFX.targets ...

I just found this link, may be that it could help : http://www.dotnetnewsgroup.com/message/313690.aspx

(I havent tested it yet as it's veeeeery late here ;-))

Hoooorray ! It worked !

The problem occured because I installed the SDK ONLY.

I installed the Runtime Components too and now I have the beautiful Microsoft.WinFX.targets file on my machine.
