HoneyPots?

Published Fri, Feb 25 2005 14:36 | William

Considering that lately I'm falling flat on my face in the 'Things I want to do' vs 'Things I actually find time to do' category, the issue of HoneyPots really got my interest up.  Just saw Apress is putting out a new book on HoneyPots by Roger Grimes (wasn't that Brad Pitt's name in 12 Monkeys?).

Anyway, this looks like it'd be cool as h3ll to really do.  Has anyone made done one of these? I just ordered a copy b/c if nothing else, it looks like it'd be interesting as hell even if I don't get to it anytime soon.

And does anyone have any good book recommendations on how to overcome procrastination for people that used to neurotically avoid procrastination?  When I realize how bad I've been procrastinating lately, it's spooky because until recently, I've been the total opposite.  Maybe I just need fewer projects?  Or better yet, a clone (although I don't know if the  world really wants two of us running around).

mmm ... honey pots :)

i'm having the same problem. more 'want to do's' than 'time to do'. bunch of ideas, but nothing i 'have' to do yet. when this happens i just read books and surf until something clicks

dont think we have to be worried about you being cloned though. we'll be too busy cloning hot chicks. actually, thats what the UN should do ... a ban on cloning guys and non-hot chicks
