Ok, so this time I the poor sap on the bad side of weather.  1/2 of snow and EVERYTHING, is closed down. You'd think this was the friggin Day After Tomorrow or something.  Just once I want to be able to talk some trash and not get it right back in my face ;-).

And then there are people like me who drive out at 11:30 to get a coffee in the snow, only because it snowed.

BTW, Mark Dunn spoke good words about u in the latest DNR.

I just realized this. YOU CAUSED OUR WINTER STORM.

I've lived in Georgia all my life and I seriously thought it wasn't a big deal. When I awoke Saturday to sheets of ice everywhere I realized maybe it was. There are ocassions where the southeast has winter storms that can be severe but in most cases they aren't. So while people rush to the grocery store in droves, I typically laugh at them. This wasn't that bad but there have been times where we couldn't drive for a good 3-4 days but it's been a long time since then. That's not usually because of the weather but because the DOT doesn't seem to want to do it's job, which is a little disturbing. After this many years I think we could have a little better plan in place to deal with winter weather but we seem content with putting bandaids on the problem until the next "big one" rolls around. I guess those 3 people that died might not think so though.
