Stored Procedures vs. Dynamic SQL

Published Wed, Nov 24 2004 20:57 | William
I was just flipping through an old evilness of Stored Procedures on the evilness of Stored Procedures - the post is about a year old but I didn't read his blog back then.  The first thing I got pissed off about is that Frans speaks better English than I do and I'm pretty sure there's a Southpark Reference in there.  The main reason I really like Procs is that you can change the code in them without having to recompile and redistribute an application.  But as usual, Frans makes some really good points and it's definitely food for thought.
