THANK YOU MICROSOFT

If you've been reading my blog for long, you'll know of the hell I've been through ever since trying to install any of the secondary builds of Whidbey.  Well, Microsoft came out the with Express line, which has all the newest vs 2005 stuff built in but you can just install pieces.  Technically you need MSDN Subscription but if you go to http://labs.msdn.microsoft.com/express you can get the stuff right now.  It wouldn't install on one of my machines b/c I couldn't uninstall VS2005 - Don't get me started on that - but I got the rest installed without a hitch and the install loooks a LOT nicer.  Very well done Microsoft - I forgive you for the whole Whidbey install debacle.  Now, I'm off to go play with Yukon !

POSTNOTE - Brian Madsen was kind enough to point out I spelled the link wrong - it's http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express

That's brutal - I think I'd die without broadband - it's hard to remember the old days. What all are you downloading?
