Casey asks that we all Pray for him.

The visual image of Casey's latest blog at Ohio Rest Stops was truly hilarious.  I thought that stuff only happened here in the South.  I thought all of the preachers down here ran the Devil back up North where he belongs.  So I wouldn't have guessed that he'd run into this stuff unless of course, Landover Baptist  is up in Ohio.  Something tells me he wasn't taking his nephews up to Vacation Bible Gun Camp, but it's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one that has to deal with nonsense like this stuff.  I wasn't alive back then but when the pledge was created, the “Under God” part wasn't in it.  There are many people in this country who learned the pledge without the Under God part.  That was added in by a bunch of politicians and that's the problem. What the government gives it can take away.  So why does it make you a 'good Christian” to go around blabbing about this? Being a Christian doesn't in any mean you have run around and be a dork - yet a lot of people haven't apparently got the memo.  I mean, I bet the first guy sees people do kind things for others all the time.  I doubt he goes up to each one and tells them he respects them.  But he sees Casey praying before he eats (I can't even type that without bursting out into laughter) and no he admires him.  The funny part is after Casey told him 'Hell No”, I bet the guys opinion of KC changed.  so that must be some ephemeral admiration.  “I only admire you if you were praying before you ate your food” - just can't really imagine Jesus saying that.

The more important question is why is Mr Brains-N-Brawn eating all that unhealthy food?  There has to be better sources of Protein and Carbs than Ice Cream.  And I dont' want to get into what that other place was, but it sounds like some Burger Joint or the like.  If we were talking about SC, then I would say Fish Camp (Yuck) or Barbecue Place but I think the North is too sophisticated to have either).  Well we'll have to wait for more clarification about what he was eating - but many lard asses like me get our motivation for working out from Brains-N-Brawn and can't have any of that.)

yeah, i was stopping at those places for the convenience factor. not many healthy options. along the lines of burger king, sbarro, and cinnabon. have to admit i've tried the mcdonalds salads, and i like them!

Well I just benched 185 on the incline press and am down two pant sizes b/c I got inspired by B & B. Got a long way to go but the last thing I need is you going to prayer vigils at Ice Cream shops and greasy spoon restaurants. Might be good for your soul but bad for my motivation ;-). Listening to that sh1t has to get annoying, my heart goes out to you.
