Windows .NET Security

A few days ago, a friend of mine and I were working on some alternate ways to access/manipulate .config files and he had done a cool write up of it over at www.kjmsolutions.  Anyway, as he was doing some more reasearch, he came across the IsolatedStorageClass which is very very cool to say the least.  After realizing I missed the boat on this one, I started reading up on it and liking it more by the minute.  Some of the security implications seemed unnerving until we started playing with it some more and doing more reasearch on it. We have an article coming out about it so i don't want to steal our own thunder, but our pursuit of learning as much of what we could about the security implications lead us to Shawn Farka's site http://weblogs.asp.net/shawnfa/ which had a link to Keith Brown's FREE online version of his .NET Security book ,   A .NET Developers Guide to Windows Security.  I have the book .  The only difference in the two is that the Print Version's title is “The .NET Developers...” vs “A .NET Developers”.  Anything Addison-Wesley puts out, particularly in the .NET Developer's Series is a must have and this book is no exception - I highly recommend both versions!
