I bet we'll see a couple more...
I just read another blog about someone who read Brains-n-Brawn and went out of their way to meet the guy behind it, and I have this feeling there will be quite a few more before long. I guess 'bad judgement' isn't all it's cracked up to be after all. Another thing worth noting.... How easy would it be for him to name names. I know I'm not impressed in the least with the value of their great judgement and professionalism and wouldn't want to work at any of the places that he INDIRECTLY refers to. The fact that he doesn't show any names, that he doesn't point any fingers sure looks like professional behavior to me. There's not a software company out there that wouldn't greatly benefit from having a guy like this working for them and the whole Right side of his site proves it. I'm sure this nuance gets lost on those who don't have a clue about what real talent looks like. And there's another nuance I'd like to point out. How long has Brains-n-Brawn been around? How many companies has he worked for during that time period? How many lawsuits or personnel issues has he caused? And by looking at the employment lenghts on his resume, how many of those companies found his judgement poor and his behavior unprofessional. How many of his peers deemed his talent worthy of Microsoft's MVP award (twice)? How many people have learned a LOT by his site? Somehow I doubt I'm the only one who that sees the inconsitencies here...
