About Bill Ryan
My name is William Ryan and this is my personal blog. I'm 36 years old and live in Greenville, South Carolina with my lovely wife, Kim, my wonderful step-daughter Sarah and our two dogs Mitzy and Nikki. I work as a Consultant on various Microsoft Technologies. I'm a Microsoft MVP in Device Applicaton Development. In addition to consulting, I write books, work as a technical editor, blog on several sites and speak at IT Conferences. I'm a big tech geek and am very into Home Automation and the whole Geek My Ride thing. Outside of technology, I love reading (the Amazon Kindle is the greatest gadget I think I've ever had), running (I'm currently training to run my second marathon), dogs (Kim and I are both involved in animal rescue) and cooking. In addition to this site, I maintain a personal site and personal blog.
