World Cyber Games Coverage (Day 4)
DAY 4 – 21 OCT ‘06
Today the quarter finals, the semi finals and, in some cases, the finals took place.
The games that got down to the finals are:
Dawn of War: Winter Assault
Gold Medal won by Korea Need For Speed: Most Wanted
Gold Medal won by Russia
While the tournaments took place, the World Cyber Games gained attention from the Italian Government authority and from the major national television networks including SKY Sport, RAI 1, RAI 3 and TG5.
We also met VideoMonkey and the famous Xbox.com personality Trixie, with whom we watched the Half Life Counter Strike 1.6 quarter finals: won by Sweden versus USA.
