Control Toolbox: Typing text during slide show

Published Tue, Nov 28 2006 5:36

Using the control toolbox, you can allow typing of text during slide show. To achieve this, you will need to enable the control toolbox. Click View > Toolbars > Control Toolbox. Next, select the Text Box button in the control toolbox. Add the Text Box onto the slide and preview the slide show. You will now be able to type text in the slide show.

Go to the top (Windows logo) > Powerpoint options > popular > check show developer tab in ribbon. Control Toolbox will be in developer tab.

This works. Thank you dia for your great directions. I was able to insert an interactive text box with your directions.

How can you make a hard return when adding typing withing the textbox?

# Carla said on Tuesday, September 07, 2010 10:45 AM

to make a hard return while typing within the text box you need to edit the properties of the text box. Right Click on the text box and select properties. Find the 'EnterKeyBehaviour' and select true from its drop down menu.

When I "click View" in powerpoint 2010 there is no Toolbar there or Control Toolbox.  Where is it?
