Vista SP1 and X-Fi Update

Just a quick update to this post The Dell Third level techs have apparently reproduced the problem I reported and they are working with Creative & nVidia to try and find a solution. When I get one, I will post it here.

Broadcom TOE, Dell, ISA 2004 and my headache....

A while back I posted about how Broadcom and it’s TOE system in the Dell PowerEdge 2900 stops ISA from functioning on Small Business Server 2003. Well, since then I have installed a few more Dell servers, all with Intel cards and have had no problems...

Thanks to Susan for the heads up here. I am one of those that have posted a comment on the Dell Idea Storm website. I too cannot stand preinstalled shite on Dell Machines, especially the business ones. Have your say on the site here .
