Windows 2003 SP2 and IE7

OK, this is just crazy stuff.

Not only do they side swipe us with this release of Service Pack 2 for Windows 2003 Server, but on this page they say:

“If you installed Internet Explorer 7 after installing Windows Server 2003 SP1, you must un-install Internet Explorer 7 before you install Windows Server 2003 SP2.”

Now that is just plain SILLY Microsoft.   SP2 should support that, and if it does not, it should be fixed immediately so that it does not have this requirement.

EDIT:  For the record, I have installed this on a SBS box and a standard Windows Box, both with IE7 still installed.   No issues to report….. yet…
