Following MMS 2009 on Twitter
A bunch of folks have asked me recently about “who” to follow at MMS, and “how” to do it. I just saw today that Stefan has already taken the time to put this information together. Great job, Stefan! So, as to not duplicate the wheel, check...

When did Amazon.com add the Associates browser bar?
This is a great idea from the Amazon.com folks. They call it their “site stripe”. If you have an Amazon.com Associate account, Amazon.com automatically places the bar at the top of the browser window, giving you quick click access to the Associate...

A new App-V site you’ll never find by searching…
If you try searching using normal methods you’ll probably miss this new App-V web site. Why? Well…it doesn’t use a normal domain designator. Instead of being a .com or .net, its a .in. http://www.app-v.in/ It looks interesting, but its too...

One way to separate padded stats from real stats
I've seen in several instances where web sites will show a really neat graph of site stats, displaying a huge amount of traffic, yet you have to pull back and scratch your head because there seems to be very little actual activity on the site. I could...

Sites that provide active content *only* by pulling in information from other places
Have you seen this? I’ve seen a lot of it, lately. To increase Google ad exposure, show activity on a site, increase site stats, and/or appear to be a more active site than it is, some sites resort to pulling in RSS feeds from other places...

LinkedIn Groups gets a search engine – but somebody isn’t communicating
LinkedIn has rolled out Search for their newly public Groups areas, but delaying a search feature has definitely been at a cost. Right now, I’m a member of 1 MVP group, with 2 memberships pending. That’s right – that makes THREE separate groups...

Good riddance to Bill Gates… by Jim “Lynchmob” Lynch
Jim Lynch falls off his rocker, traveling beyond the speed of light, and heads straight into an industrial metal fan. Here he blasts Bill Gates for creating the technologies that he is using to write his tripe: http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,2845...

Google’s dominance on myITforum.com
Funny how Google’s piece of the pie looks like Pacman – either eating up the others or spitting them out. BTW: It is interesting that Microsoft’s search is actually ahead of Yahoo. It has been this way for quite some time. Read More...

Yet another new Microsoft video web spot
How many different sites does Microsoft have dedicated to video right now? Just off the top of my head I can count six, and I’m sure I’m missing some. Will this new one pan out? Or, can Microsoft use this site to centralize them all...
