Office 2003 stops responding when attempting to use save as to a USB drive

Had this happen the other day to a client. When she attempted to use "Save As" to save an updated copy of Word or Excel documents over to her USB drive from her My Documents folder the application would freeze up on her. Thanks to the Microsoft...
