I read about this on Ars Technica.  It looks like the new IE8 will be a lot better for web developers.  This should also help with the Opera vs Microsoft suit where Opera alleges that IE is not standards compliant. (Which as you can see from the IE7 test it's not really right now)

Sorry, though IE team.  I will continue to use Firefox.  I think that the IE team needs to eliminate ActiveX, life is so much better without it.

Opera passes the test. There is a bug on the server hosting the test that makes the test break. This is not a bug in Opera!
