A workaround for the IE7 Beta 2 Preview Favorites Pane context menu bug

If the context menu that appears when right clicking on an entry in the Favorites Centre falls below the bottom edge of the Centre the context menu options won't work - if you click on any option the menu simply disappears - workaround is to pin the Favorites Centre by clicking on the green arrow.

This context menu will not work unless we pin the Favorites Centre

I installed  “Vista Transformation Pack 5.5, and IE-7 on two computers. My bookmarks automatically made the transformation with IE-7 on one machin, and imported the Bookmarks over from system one, to my second computer. It appears that all the transformations went well except for one feature, and that’s the “Add-to-Bookmarks.”  All the folders are there in the tree, but the tree is strung out in a zigzag line.

Example: With IE-6, when you open “Add-to-Favorites,” you can view your main folders in a straight line. From here, you simply scroll the list, find the main folder where you wish to save, click a sub-folder if necessary, and save you file.

Now, when I click Add-to Favorites, “ALL” my folders, sub-folders, and sub-sub-folders, are already open, in the same zigzag type fashion, as they would appear had I opened them all myself, I can’t close any folders in the tree. The entire tree remains open regardless of all efforts to close it.

Is there a fix for this, is it caused by IE-7, Vista 5.5, or, an incompatibility between the two programs?
