but after an hour or so trying it, it worked.

This morning happend the same. But 7 hours have passed and I still cannot access to gmail.


However, what worries me most is that in the same computer, with the same windows account and the same browser I can access to another gmail account. But with mine, its not possible. Why? Why are they different? The only difference I found is that the one I cannot access has more that 100 MB used, and the other one not. Could that be an space problem in gmail?

Only a few weeks ago I tried using Thunderbird so that I could read my gmail messages offline if the worst happened. However, I'm behind a uni firewall so wasn't able to use the ports specified by gmail for pop access. Instead I used MrPostman to extract messages. Gmail promptly closed down my account within 2 minutes for abnormal usage reasons. I wasn't able to access my account for a period of 24 hours. Very frustrating. Now I have started to migrate back to Yahoo. Also, such an incident has put me off Google's services in general. This is due to their total lack of acknowledgement or response to email messages. I was first attracted to Gmail because of the intuitive way of grouping messages by conversations. However, if the service is not 100% reliable and they have no concept of customer service then I'll simply move. I'm aware that gmail is a beta product so I'll come back when it's out of it's beta stage.
