Michael: IE8 has a limitation of 32,768 bytes for the data: URI, irrespective of Base64 or URI escaping used. Is yours exceeding this limit?

We appraciate very much your article and we trying to use it with a set of base64 data to display a map. But the map appears well in Chrome/Mozilla and not to IE8 which displays part of it.

Do you have an idea
