Another great example of SharePoint as a platform
I am sure everyone has heard this before but SharePoint (both WSS and MOSS) is not just an application. Both have been written to allow for great extensibility and customization (notice that I wrote "great", not "easy" =). Another example of this has popped up; the Interactive Media Manager from Microsoft. Written on top of MOSS it allows companies to easily handle their media productions.
