.NetFramework 3.0 have all the components which .NetFramework 2.0 has, like ASP.Net,Winforms,Base Class libraries,ADO.Net,CLR and some additional technologies for developers called WPF,WCF,WF.To know more about the above terms scroll down. It is previously called as WinFX. .NetFramewok 3.0 will be shipped with Windows Vista as well. It is also available for Windows XP.

Note: if you are using Windows Vista the .NET Framework 3.0 Runtime Components are installed by default.
