hi, can anyone help me out as i get a error box - "BCMWLTRY.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows" everytime i start my windows 2003 server OS. please provide any soln if u r aware of it. :)

Thanks a lot - this worked for me as well. We have a few PCs at our workplace with this problem and it's great to know I can now update Windows on them properly!

I have spent weeks trying to solve this error on a win 2k server and after following these instructions the Windows Update worked straight away.

Microsoft support is absolute pants!
