I am Rakesh, and I am a software developer from India.  I was born in Kuwait, and did my schooling there and in India, and graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from CSI College, Ooty.  At present, I work with US Technology (http://www.ustri.com) as a Software Consultant. 

I started programming when I was thirteen, with QBASIC.  Over the years, I have worked in PASCAL, C++, Visual Basic, Visual C++ and Java.  I started working in .NET in 2002, and had been in it ever since.

I love listening to music, especially those by A R Rahman, Enya and Yanni.  Reading fiction is another of my interests and my favorite authors are Jeffery Archer and Sidney Sheldon.  I also paint portraits and play the keyboard.
