Displaying all alerts on all sites

Subject: Displaying all alerts on all sites

I'm trying to create a custom web part that will display all alerts a user has on all the sites on a single portal, as well as all the alerts within the portal itself. So far all I've found is using the AlertManager to pull alerts; however this only pulls the alerts on the portal, not the sites within the portal. Any ideas? Any help is much appreciated!

for the differences between the alerts on the two products,... you should take a look at the http://[servername]/_vti_bin/outlookadapter.asmx
