It's possible to customize the alert emails that are sent from SharePoint (SPS & WSS)... I remember learning that in my training, but forgot where the XML files are for customizing.
Also, is it possible to customize the email generated by SPS and WSS when a new user is created? We'd like to add some login assistance information to the messages that are sent out.
