In my case I solve the problem by starting two process that was down, in Start menu - run - services.msc

then start the process "server" and "computer browser"

you(or some random) person might have changed the IP of your router in it's setup, try reseting it.

Also if you cant connect to your router try connecting a different comp to it as it might be because of some random network error(but reseting the router fixes that for me)

Gents,

I've runned into issues with the /after and /before switch.

It always errors out with "Argument /after was not recognized".

The switches are all in lower case and they are in the 14 character format as stated in the above reply.

Any help would be appreciated!

Recently for reasons unknown to me my pc's ip address changed from 192.168.2.3 to 192.168.2.4, i am clueless. I have ports forwarded to 192.168.2.3.My current configuration is windows xp service pack 3 with a westell 6100 dsl router, which is run through to a Belking F5D7230-4 wireless router for my xbox 360. I have been doing a little bit of research on enabling IPEnable Router in registry editor. Any suggestions how to change back my ip address that i had all programs setup. Any help with my current configuration & whether changing my ip address back to 2.3 rather than the new ip address 2.4

Cache size = 64 KB = 2^16 bytes = 2^14 words

block size = 16bytes = 2^4 bytes =2^2 words therefore(from block size), b=2

no of blocks a, 2^14 - 2^2 =2^12 a =12

tag bits =(32 – 12 + 2 + 2) = 16 bits

Cache entry size = block data bits + tag bits + valid bit

= (32 X 2^2) + 16 + 1 = 145 bits

amount of data in cache = 2^12 x 145 =593,920 bits =72.5kB

I've found a solution...(for Windows XP Professional)

1. Go to "Network Connections"

2. Right click "Local Area Connection" and select "Properties"

3. Uninstall "Client For Microsoft Networks"

4. Restart your computer

5. Reinstall "Client For Microsoft Networks"
