How to install Windows Server 2003 if the setup always generates errors with copying syssetup.dll
If the setup cannot copy various files to install Windows Server 2003, and you always get an error when copying syssetup.dll file, try to consider the problems of your memory or hard disk. DO NOT always think it will be problems of your CD or DVD drive, or your media has been broken.
When you try to install Windows Server 2003 on a computer but you always meet cannot copy file especially syssetup.dll error, check your memory with this tool:
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp
The tool will show you problems with the memory, remove or replace related memory from your machine, then you may install Windows Server 2003 without the problem of copying syssetup.dll and other installation files.
If there's no problem with the memory, try to find out your hard disk diagnostic tool, it may be your hard disk problem then.
Hope this post helpful. I write this because I saw a post in newsgroup mentioned this problem, and MVP Colin Nash had provided the solution to this problem. Thanks MVP Jack Brewster and Colin Nash.
