New Exchange 2010 features: SMS sync is confirmed!

So it seems that my suspicions where indeed correct, and that Exchange 2010 will sync your device’s SMS’s, so you can always have a backup of your text messages even if you loose your device.

Also users will be able to send and view SMS’s right from OWA, and also view e-mail messages in the the conversation mode.

SMS sync will only work with Windows Mobile 6.5 and Exchange 2010.

You meant :

"SMS sync will only work with Windows Mobile 6.5 and Exchange 2010 "

Also, it is NOT correct that Windows Mobile 6.5 is required.  I'm running 6.1 on Touch Pro 2 and syncing to Exchange 2010 and with a quick Outlook mobile update, am now syncing sms text messages.

For all WM 6.1 user: Exchange 2010 will deliver a upgrade to all WM 6.1 devices in order to deliver full ExS 2010 functionality!
