Recording with Shapes - Excel 2007 v. Excel 2010

Hello and Happy Easter!

One of my [loud] gripes, and that of several others, is that the Macro Recorder was severely handicapped in terms of Shape Object recording in 2007.

It's back.

Why is this important? In Excel, Shapes are important, things like Chart Objects, Forms Toolbar Shapes, etc... The attached video provides a little compare and contrast between Excel 2007 and Excel 2010.

While the Macro recorder may not provide you with production-level code, it can be a very effective way to grab syntax, quickly. This is a much welcomed development.
