Aujourd'hui au TechEd de Barcelone Microsoft a révélé le nom final de la nouvelle technologie de virtualisation, actuellement connue sous le nom de Viridian, ce sera :
Hyper-V
Du coup le nombre de versions de Windows Server augmente :
· Windows Server 2008 Standard
· Windows Server 2008 Enterprise
· Windows Server 2008 Datacenter
· Windows Server 2008 for Itanium-Based Systems
· Windows Web Server 2008
· Windows Server 2008 Standard without Hyper-V
· Windows Server 2008 Enterprise without Hyper-V
· Windows Server 2008 Datacenter without Hyper-V
Pour en finir avec l'actu, Microsoft termine actuellement le SP1 de WSUS 3, pour prendre en charge Windows Server 2008.
