A message to all who view this blog:
I have been looking at viewing stats for the entries I make, and can see that the graph looks similar to the side elevation of a mountain range. Some topics are way more popular than others, but I am not running a popularity contest here.
My main aim is appeal to a wide experience/knowledge base. I cannot, therefore, apologise if each or any of the entries do not appeal to you.

They’re back..

Language packs compatible with Vista SP2 have appeared in Windows update.. 34 of them.. that’s it.. :-)

Vista SP2 RTM.. looking both ways

Uninstalling RC drifted along smoothly, as did installation of the standalone five language RTM. It has taken a couple of days for the system to settle back down, but Vista 64 is running nicely again, and I have no major issues. There are still niggling...

Vista SP2 RC..

An error message when I tried to uninstall the Beta version.. not a good start. I should have been prepared for what followed. Second attempt to uninstall the Beta worked well enough. I had already downloaded the SP2 RC Wave 0, so all that was needed...
