If you are replacing a motherboard which has an nVidia chipset and/or nVidia graphics for a motherboard which has an ATI  or Intel chipset, you will quickly find out that nVidia drivers are not so easy to uninstall.

The normal procedure through ‘Programs and Features’ doesn’t quite cut it, and if you take a trip to Control Panel > ‘Performance and Information Tools > Advanced Tools, you will see an entry relating to nVidia divers causing wake from sleep/hibernation to be slow.

There is a fix, and if you download from the link below, it is a free version, and it works..

This utility will remove vestiges of nVidia drivers and others if you choose to select them for removal. You should of course only remove troublesome drivers, not everything in the list..
