Changing blog provider, please update you RSS ;)

Heya,

maybe you are old school reader of my blogs and you remember when I moved to msmvps.com from blogdrive.com (it didn't support RSS feeds). Now it is time to leave msmvps.com and select new blog provider (if you tried to reach this blog in last 4 days, you know why ;)).

Few weeks ago I run into issue with embedding HTML code that contains flash (Jing videos) - this is not possible due to community server configuration. I started to think about moving to different blog provider - ideally big one that is being often updated and is keeping up to date.

Few days ago msmvps.com stopped working - and it was not available till today, without giving any reasons why and when it will be available again.

So I decided it is time to move my blog to new location. For various reasons I decided for Blogger.com.

So if you like my blog and you want to follow my (professional only) life path, change your registration to http://martinzugec.blogspot.com/

Martin, there is a listserve for all the bloggers and I was giving daily reports of what happened.

I apologize it took so long to get back but I was wanting to ensure that Microsoft PSS was given full ability to get log files off the box to investigate.

I plan to upgrade to CS 2008 shortly.

I apologize if the blog site isn't up to your needs, but unfortuntely this isn't a business, and I have a day job.

Hi Susan,

don't get me wrong - I am not angry at msmvps (how could I, I always thought of it as someones favor to me, not vice versa), I was thinking about moving to Blogger for longer time. In fact I realized that msmvps is offline when I wanted to post blog entry about changing my blog address ;) I am sure it looks like that downtime is reason why I am leaving msmvps, but it was not.

I must definitely say that I really appreciate what you are doing for MVPs all around the world and I really enjoyed blogging here.

However as you said it is not a business - and that is why I would like to try provider that takes blog platform as business and his revenue is tied up with availability and attractiveness of his platform.

Spammer freak!  I just got an email from you about subscribing to your blog.  I never requested it, and obviously the code on there is designed to confirm my email address so that you can sell it to other spammers.

You disgust me!  Die painfully, please!

Well, I was never definitely involved in any spamming activities... And because you posted same post to my original blog (and they are not linked anyway), I don't expect this to be anything except random shout... Could you forward that mail to me??
