OK, most of you know that I'm an adiv outdoorsmen; enjoying things like geocaching, kayaking, backpacking, skiing, and mountian climbing. After we move to Seattle later this month, I've decided my new pet project is going to be building a Teardrop Trailer.
If you're not familiar with these relics of our nestolgic past, I've snagged the following description from www.teardrops.net:
In the most general terms, a teardrop trailer is a comfortable, convenient, and compact CAMPING TRAILER! Most often, it has a streamlined "teardrop" shape, especially the original types from the '30s, '40s, and early '50s. There is room for two people to sleep comfortably inside. And there is an area for cooking outside under the rear "hatch" or "galley lid".
Here is a couple photos I'll be basing my building plans on: http://tearsojoy.com/jessica.html

I'm now using You Software's You Subscribe RSS reader. I'll post how the testing goes. The good news is that it's currently free and integrates with Microsoft Outlook. Firefox users will be glad to hear that it also integrates well with that browser.

In what appears to be a disturbing trend among management software vendors, another alarming acquisition took place today. In a deal worth $56.5 million in cash, Quest Software annouced their takeover of Vintela - the leading provider of enterprise management tools for the UNIX/Linux platform. How this will effect the product's integration with SMS/MOM has yet to unfold.
The official press release is available at: http://www.vintela.com/news/articles/rel_article06.pdf
P.S. Hey Microsoft! What was your bid?
