OK, so I jumped right in there and decided to install the highly talked about Windows XP Service Pack 2. Since I was having 'issues' with the hard drive in my laptop, I decided to install SP2 to a freshly rebuilt XP installation. So far I've not noticed any significant impact on normal network operations, though I'm aware of 7 outstanding issues with SMS and this service pack. So, more to come as my testing evolves.
