I find software manufacturers perpetuate this view and suspect it is because they are worried about loosing too fast their market shareto Microsoft.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We have plenty of large reference able customers who use SharePoint for ECM/EDRMS.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Am I bias? Just look at where Gartner rate SharePoint in the 2009 ECM Magic Quadrant. &lt;/p&gt;

SP1 is dated back to fall of 2007, but now is year 2009 - &amp;nbsp;you are on the system without 2 years old updates.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My strongly recommendation is to update to SP2 and then test again. I bet the issue will be fixed.&lt;/p&gt;
