Backing up SQL DB with NTBackup

Situation: SBS 2003 Premium Edition.  I have installed ReportServices for SqlServer 2000. Errors occur on backup - event id 6004, Description: Sqllib error: Database RptServer is not simple.

Solution: Open SQL Manager and go to the properties of each database. Make sure the backup type is set to simple.

Hi,

I have the exact same problem on SBS 2003 standard's MSDE, but no SQL manager. Can anyone tell me how to put an MSDE database into simple mode?

Thanks.

I also have the same problem! Was there an answer ever posted here in your forum Kevin or on the Newsgroups about this, I do not use the SQL Manager even though I am using the SBS 2003 Premium and I get the "Windows Small Business Server Backup failed (Event ID: 5634)" nerly all the time.
