1) Disabled Integrity Checks by using bcdedit.exe (Start > Run > cmd > bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON

2) Reboot so that the new setting will take effect

3) Install the PL-2303 USB driver found at http://download.pharosgps.com/download/drivers.htm. It says it's for the GPS-360 but it's apparently for both models according to Pharos.

This worked for me on my Vista 32bit Home Premium version. One drawback of the book is it was published in June 2004 if I remember correctly. Some of the features mentioned in the book have not made it into the current CTP. Those are things you'll want to note in the margins. I also can't remember if there is SQLCLR examples in that book, but I think there are. Those examples will not work as written for the 2.0 framework, in the book, because the namespaces have moved, method names and implementations have changed. Another thing you'll have to note.

re: Is the SqlDependency Attribute in OutputCache Directives Required Like VaryByParam Attribute?

Hi
You should use user controls to indicate how their output is cached
