Playing with Windows Live Writer

I usually bypass the general e-mail from Microsoft about how to use Windows better than I do.  Why? Because most of the time, I've used those features.  However, to quote coach Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State University, "I'm a man! I'm 40!"  and boy am I starting to feel the creep of not keeping up with it all.  Heck!  I'm getting close in 2008 to doubling the number of post in 2007.  So there is hope.

Today, I decided to to look into some of the new Windows Live products listed on the e-mail.  I'm producing this content with one of them "Windows Live Writer" and I'm impressed how easy it is.  First I started out downloading the product and then installation was simple.  It asked for my blog location and credentials.  I was surprissed to see that that it can recognize the format of my site, allow me to be linked to the management of my site and all.

For those of you, who were already getting upset with my lack of using a spell checker in the preceding paragraph, you need not worry.  I know!  While typing, I can see the wonderful little line under 'surprised'.

I love the way I can add images so easily.  I used a Snipping Tool to grab the typo indicator and simply copy and paste it to the doc.

I can even add tables:

With all the fun of font Control and more: Scalability Experts
SQL Server 2008
  BI Rules!

Then pretty easy on the Block Quote as well.

It's free. It's easy!  I'll be putting it through some paces.
