This is going to be a very exciting year for developers and DBA's alike. With Microsoft planning for releases of its Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005, many new techniques and capabilities are going to be available. Currently I am preparing a series of presentations to be delivered in the South Central District (AR, OK, and northern Texas) focusing on these topics plus exciting ways that Managed code can be used with Office products. Have you looked into InfoPath yet?
If you are interested in attending any of these sessions and are in the area, please go to our local Developer Evangilist's (Brian Moore) site for links to schedules.
I'm in Montgomery, AL doing some training on OLAP this week and who do I have sitting my class? None other than my good buddy Mark Dunn!!! Speaking of Mark, did you hear him on the latest .NET Rocks with Carl Franklin? Check it out it is a great presentation.
We had dinner tonight with the President of the Montgomery Area .NET Developer Group, Bruce Thomas. Bruce is a great guy focusing on Mobile Development. He also has some really interesting thoughts on User Interfaces and how Avalon should be made to work on a mobile foundation.
Peace Be With You!
