Windows Live Safety Center: Better than beta

Apart from the name change, Life Safety Center is now called Windows Live OneCare safety scanner, it not beta anymore. For those who still don't know, it a free on-demand tool that has three different types of scans:
  • Protection Scan checks for and removes things like viruses and malware.
  • Clean-up Scan checks the hard disk for unnecessary files and helps users decide which ones they can safely delete. It also clears the PC’s registry of left over data.
  • Tune-up Scan helps improve the PC’s performance by defragmenting the hard drive.
Other good news is that Windows Live OneCare is going International! At the end of the year Windows Live OneCare, or sooner, will have international beta's available for the following markets: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.

I'm lucky because I'm running a US-English operating system myself and just ordered a copy of Windows Live OneCare in the USA and it's running very nicely on three of my computers.
