FitNesse has a primitive version control system built into it, where it builds zip files of previous versions

re: Bringing Subversion and Fitnesse together

I use fitness and svn, but all I did was turn of the page updates by passing -e 0 to the run.sh file.

This effectually removed the modifications to the page -- as I don't want ALL modifications, just the ones at check in time. i.e., change sets.

This seem to work for me and is less intrusive to the fitnesse code base.

Then again, I was not really clear the ultimate goal of your changes.
